The third full-length release by Atom Heart/Victor Sol project +N is even harder to pin down than their earlier work, which has included ambient, techno, electro-jazz, and numerous spaces in between. Most of those points are engaged somewhere on Built, though this time with a brevity and eclecticism at once fascinating and bewildering. Tracks such as "Watson" and "Lenin's Niece" contain emotional dimensions absent from much of Atom Heart's solo work, and the production quality rivals those of Rather Interesting milestones such as Interactive Music and Hat.
