Frisbitar was started as a middle school music class project. Original songs were writeen from the very start. Through high school a mix of originals and covers derived from influences including Phish, Spoon, Grateful Dead, and The Beatles were played at weekly shows throughout Lancaster. An album was recorded under the name Abandoned Ship and distributed at shows and at school. At the start of college years the band name was changed to Frisbitar and a 5 song EP was recorded. The band will be graduating college within the next year and new songs are in the works.
