Jihae is a singer/songwriter. My Heart is an Elephant, Jihae's debut solo album to be released 3/07, was co-produced by herself and Brent Arnold (Modest Mouse, Sleater Kinney), features guest performers Lenny Kravitz, Patrik Mccarthy (REM,U2), and oscar winning filmmaker, Michel Gondry. She has collaborated with Grammy nominated artists David Steel (Fine young Cannibals, English Beat) and Duncan Sheik . She has contributed her rendition of "Summertime" to Arakimentary, the acclaimed film biopic on the life and work of photographer, Nobuyashi Araki. Currently, Jihae is in collaboration with Marco Brambilla, a world renown video artist whose works are exhibited in the Guggenheim Museum. She has performed at Tribeca Film Festival; Cro Bar; Joe's Pub; CBGB; and many of NYC 's local venues.
