The Band The story of Washout started in the middle of 2004 when Johan, Daniel and Martin started playing together after they had met at a party after a few years not seeing each other. Talking about music all night over a few beers they decided to start jamming together, and here we are. Daniel and Martin moved around in Portugal during the summer of 2005 for a couple of months working the bar scene playing the Washout tunes, unfortunatly Daniel had to leave due to a family emergency. Martin decided to stay and lived a whole year in Portugal apart from the band. Returning to Sweden in the end of 2005 the band was still on ice but reunited in the spring of 2006 and stronger than ever a great add to the band bass player Henrik Nilsson decided to join after, well, talking to the guys of Washout over a couple of beers. The last but not least member to join the band was Niklas who we got in touch with thru mutual friends. Now a complete band, we have all the ambition to create something great!
