I like Rancid, Elvis Costello, The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion but I think a really important band was Operation Ivy. The best punk band I would say is The Clash, but the best song goes to Stiff Little Fingers for either "Alternative Ulster", "Wasted Life" or "Gotta Getaway". (I can't decide on one.
