True that. IMO Ben Moody is the missing element in the new Evanesnence line-up.

I'm pretty sure that Evanescence was meant to be about Amy Lee. It's like Spice Girls with only one member, the other ones are only there to provide music, except with Evanescence they get credited for it. Evanescence is Amy lee's project pretty much.

I would have to say that Cristina Scabbia is a much better vocalist than Amy Lee. Although I am a fan of Amy Lee (because of her dating Shaun Welgemoed of Seether, SA rule), I love Lacuna Coil. Cristina's voice is a much more versatile voice. I guess she just don't get that much 'attention' because of her function in the band. She is together with Andrea Ferro the vocals of the band.
Amy Lee has more dramatic vocals, neither a good or a bad thing. Cristina Scabbia has a more soprano voice, she can change her vocals to suit each part of the song. Her tone is much better as well as her emotional link between the lyrics and music.
Remember that Cristina is Italian and that does change the pronunctuation of word a lot. Her voice isn't too overwhelming in songs.
Amy Lee isn't bad, don't take me wrong. She is an excellent vocalist in her own right, but I would side with Cristina in this instance.

Ah, sorry. Had to Explain the SA. It is South Africa. My bad. Yes, I think that was the reason why he changed it, but not sure. His surname is Afrikaans. Actually Seether's name was Saron Gas before they left South Africa for the States.
If anyone would like their old stuff under the name of Saron Gas, let me know.
