..Genres..
Black, death, trash, gothic (I'm not going to list all subgenres) - metal.
Metalcore, grindcore, emocore, screamo (Don't care).
Explain to me why are there endless variations of genres. Black death- metal, death trash-metal, Satanic black death-metal.... You could continue this list till the world eats itself, by combining all words you know with metal. (chop suey-metal.. yammy!)
What makes black metal Black Metal? (lyrical themes is my best guess)
So Cradle was black metal but isn't anymore as they sold out? (I only listen to bands that don't exist yet. Right?)
If Emo comes from emotional.. then howcome Slayer, and its art, is not defined as Emo? As far as I'm conserned.. Slayer wakes some feelings in me.. Hate for example. Isn't that emotion? So Slayer's art, like Reing in blood, as it bring hate or something up, wakes emotions like Emo in general, right? Dunno can you make any sense out of my sucky english.
Let's keep it simple. Metal is metal and heavy is heavy, there can't be heavy metal. Heavy is more about music and metal about lyrics.
Slayer is emo!
