I'm not a fan or never will be of reality tv like x-factor or britains got talent or pop idol or big brother even i'm a celebrity get me out of here.
I think after whats happened with Susan boyle, this should mark a decline in these shows, it needs to show you that people can't be manufactured into stars. It needs to go back to people being discovered the old ways while their singing in a little night club, stand up in a back alley comedy club, small stage productions.
I say this as even these people who are manufactured to become a star, they have minimum a year to be famous before the next one in line gets chosen the next year, and they get forgotten about. Yes yes some manage to be a little more famous and have a little career out of it but really who is doing that well still? the answer only one or two.
will young even leona lewis they may release an album now and then but no one talks about them anymore and they receed deeper into the darkness every year, with rumours of a return or colaboration with someone else. Even the C grade actors of i'm a celeb who hope to see a little spark back in their careers doing this show fade out into obscurity again mere months after they get their spotlight back, the most famous being pete and katey.
Thats the problem they have to work hard at this to make it work and even then only for a little bit, or they need to keep themselves in the news constantly to remind people they still exist, now flame me, because thats what happened with Jade too, and i find that sick to be honest that so many people want to watch a womans last few months of life. It's evolved from watching people do every day stuff (BB) to people singing (X-F/PI) to the public making morons of themselves (BGT) it needs to stop here.
1. because its getting more pointless to become famous
2. because it kills off some pretty good series's
3. Its quite scarey what it might evolve into
There are numerous other reasons i could list but its pointless to do so i just wish someone would see that things need to stop reality TV wise now, and the public needs to realise this aswell and stop being mindless cattle.
