ACTOR HARRIS ALLAN LAUNCHES ALBUM AS "FALLAN SOLDIER"
Vancouver, B.C.---Songwriter and actor Harris Allan, under the moniker FALLAN SOLDIER, launches his solo music career with the release of "Above the Call of Duty" on March 31, 2009. Featuring 12 hip hop/rap songs including the single "Fights", the album also has strong rock and pop elements.
Fallan Soldier addresses some of today's challenges, joys and desires, head on, in a pull-no-punches musical journey with clever lyrics and layered soundtrack.
Allan's acting credits include such acclaimed roles as Hunter in Showtime's hit series Queer as Folk," and Young Johnathan in "A Home at the End of the World," with Colin Farrell and Sissy Spacek. He has also had guest starring roles on "Cold Squad," "The 4400," "Smallville" and "Master of Horrors." In "Spectacular!," released in February 2009, he played Eric.
Allan, writing songs since he was 16, had early performing and recording success with his first band, Square9. Two years ago, he went solo. "Most of the people of my generation constantly face obstacles and disappointments. We fight through daily struggles and have to support ourselves in a demanding world wishing we could could do it pursuing what we love and what inspires us. So my music reflects that.
Fallan Soldier is all about falling away from what doesn't work in your life and battling through to a better existence."

Just wanted to share a few pictures.
QAF DVD signing in NJ.
QAF season 4 premiere party in NY.
Museum of Television and Radio in NY.

Just a few links and a few questions for now. :)
Since I've read a few blogs I know it's OK to post links here. I have a website for actor Robert Gant called, Gantastic-America: http://www.squidge.org/gantfans/ I also have a QAF, Ben/Michael fansite called Living in the Now, but there is some adult content, so not too sure if I can post the link here? Can someone let me know? I'm thinking not since there might be posters here under the age of 18?
I have a few of my own personal pictures of actor Robert Gant, that I took at a signing I went to with some friends in New Jersey. We had a blast! Am I allowed to post my own photos in my blog? I also have some photos of some other QAF cast members that I took at a premiere party too. If I'm allowed to post my photos, I'll post some of those too.
I know I ask a lot of questions, but I'm still feeling my way around here and don't want to do anything wrong.
OK, that's about if for now ... HMMMM ... wasn't so bad after all! LOL
