There might be a blizzard, or the weather people could be wrong...again.
I know the proper term is forecasters, but I like my way better.
Yeah, heavy snow is predicted. It is snowing now, and was when I went to and left my dance clas.s. But they also said we'd get 3 inches on Sunday night, and we barely got anything.
In other words, clas.ses might get canceled tomorrow. For me that would be ever so bittersweet. It would be bitter because I have a performance tomorrow, and then we'd have to reschedule it. (I should really rehearse for that). It'd be sweet because while having finished my paper for my corset project, I need to work on my presentation. I got a bunch of great tight lacer pics, but need to cover my other sections. Some history, and the fashion in today's sense aspect. I got good material though. I will pry share this weird corset law I know of. (There are 5 I've found) I also have a paper to work on for Sex & Gender. I have to pick a topic, find material, like articles and websites on that topic, and discuss the gender ideologies behind what I've read. I was going to do it on the debate of gay marriage, but am having trouble relating that. I may do fitness. I also have to edit the first act of my play for playwriting. It's called "So I Married A Vampire." I could explain, but that would take me a while to get the point across. Anyways, it is a comedy, and I make fun of stuff. But that is due next Monday, all 3 of those things. For Thursday, I need to have 4 routines down perfectly for Jazz Dance. I know em, but do sometimes make mistakes. Which is a bummer.
I'm just taking a break from my work right now. Putting off what I know needs to get done. Killing time. You get the picture.

Be Careful What You Search For...
I am starting doing visual research for my Costume History project, on corsets. And I wanted to use vintage Fetish shots of the models wearing corsets. I tried a few different searches, but came across adult sites. I clicked on one, cause I only need 1 or 2 pictures. It wasn't too bad. But ya gotta be a member, so that says something about the site.
I plan on trying eBay, and researching photographers. I always have my collection of Bettie Page pictures as an example. I would try maybe YouTube, but I know that stuff like that is getting removed. And I want more simple shots, nothing hardcore. I do have a necklace with a pendant I can use.
Oh, I went back to school today. I am slowly getting better. I have lots I am working on, so had to go back. The problem is I was having dizzy spells, and when I have those, I have trouble concentrating. And in Storytelling today, we did an improv game. Hard being random when you feel that badly.
I have a week to find what I need. I still have to finish the paper. And 2 plays. And another paper. And learn 4 dance routines perfectly. Yes, exams are coming up.
This is a quick update. I'm just glad that in 2 weeks, I will be off of school.
So Long & Good Night . . .
Been sick all weekend
Mostly, I woke up Thursday with a sore throat.
Now I have a cold. And feel terrible. It is really hard to work on a project when you can't think straight. I was gonna spend all weekend working on my Costume History project. That didn't happen. I've been doing my best to finish what I have due tomorrow, though I pry won't make it to school.
Know what sucks about being sick? Besides not feeling all that great in general, I've been drinking so many fluids, hot and cold, that I've burnt my tongue, the roof of my mouth, and then you have to keep rushing to the bathroom to pee.
I lost my whole weekend due to illness. This is what is bad about making plans. But I did some shopping. I bought a skirt from Lip Service, and got free shipping. And a bunch of other places I shop at are offering free shipping. Granted, I never go out on Black Friday. Sometimes I go out on Gray Saturday. I have yet to come up with a description for Sunday. I do however know that Monday is called Cyber Monday. Dunno why. There are some books I want to get from Barnes and Noble, The Great American Pinup and Art Nouveau.
My mom is starting to decorate for Xmas. But it is my responsibility to put up the tree. Since I am busy for the next two weeks, I won't do it till the week before.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

Hello friends. As with every Thanksgiving, I'm going out to eat. Saw New Moon yesterday. It had more action than Twilight, but still was really boring. Kristen Stewart isn't the best at carrying the movie, especially that her character only shows one emotion during everything. And it is funny with how many buff, shirtless dudes that are in almost every scene. It actually was only interesting in the beginning and the end, where Edward was present. (I saw it w/ my mom, cause she wanted to see it, and I wanted to see a movie.) But people coming out of the theatre, saying how they thought it was so great and couldn't wait to see it again. Whatever. Nice visuals, in scenes. The forests I mean.
But, tis all for now. I shall end w/ my usual cartoon dolls & new graphics to celebrate.

Tis the so-called unluckiest day of the year this year...

Cue Toccata and Fugue in D Minor!
And now bow down to our evil overlord, The Evil Puppy!

If you believe it. Actually, I meant to do this on the last Friday the 13th we had, way back in June, but I forgot. I don't really fall for the superstition, but it is fun. Yesterday, I learned that Thursday 12th was bad luck. My bus going to school was way early, so I missed it. I did luckily get to cla$s before my name was called, so I wasn't tardy. But I lost all my mints (snack on em in cla$$ while doing the cakewalk. I had to stay after cla$s to copy down the vocab I couldn't do before cla$$ because I arrived too late. Because of that, I missed my bus. And then the right earbud on my iPod blew out. So I had to listen to Memento Mori through only my left. Did not have the best day. Then that night, while I am allowed back on YouTube, I had to remove all my Bettie Page videos. I went from 23 to 17. And to think, at one time I had nearly 30. Well, I also removed another video, where I called Pete Wentz a name. Because even though the video is nearly 2 years old, the people commenting are annoying me. They keep calling me mean, even though I am simply sharing an opinion.
But it is nice to be on YouTube again.
And on Tuesday I got Memento Mori, special edition. I payed full price, but the songs aren't bad at all. In fact, this is the first album I bought this year where I enjoyed first play. I am slowly getting into the songs. I think I'll give it 4.5. But I do prefer Flyleaf's self-titled debut. The songs were easier for me to relate to, and there seemed to be more passion in em. Plus, I love Lacey's screaming, which is not on Memento Mori. While it doesn't match the first, it is still a good album.
Finally, Robert Pattinson said he thinks that pale scrawny guys are favored more by women than tan muscular guys. This freaks me out, cause I've been saying that since I was 17. I hate the thought that I think the same way as the guy who plays Edward Cullen. Don't have anything against him, but ya know.
