In this album kotzen doesn't only show us his maestry with the guitar. This album is a kotzen great work like a songwriter, a original metal album whith strong guitar riffs but not repetitives sometimes very similar of freak kitchen and a lot of melody in company of good lirics. The guitar solos are magnific of course.

At last krokus has done a good album. In the last years the band lost the name and the fame that adquired in the mid 80s after a couple of albums without a defined style. "Rock The Block" is a crude hard rock album leaded by strong guitar riffs similar to AC/DC but the krokus original touch, adding some rithm changes. It's not the best album of the band but good songs like "mad world" reminds the best era of the band.

This album follow the line of the "magica" album with a lot of midtemo rock songs but this time the low song are boring without power and only "one more on the road" a fast and stronger song brokes the monotony of the album. Is simply a album to follow doing tours whith new material.

One of the best albums of the group. A great melodic hard rock album whith fast song really good combined whith soft melodic ballads and the romantic love lirics of David coverdale. All song are good compositions but 3 of them are masterpieces indispensable in live concerts.
"Crying in the Rain" is a slow song but has a lot of power the guitar sounds fantastic."Here I Go Again" is a mitic song with a very good rithm and "Is this love" is a love ballad that really goes from the ears to the heart.

In the end 70s Ozzy Osbourne, the mitic singer of the band, left the band and Iommy recruits Roonie James Dio as the new frontman. The New singer wasn`t a masses idol like his predecessor, but was a better singer and a great song writer.
Dio carried his fantastic lirics and a vocalist tecnic that given to the band a new air. But the band kept his identity intact whith Iommy`s riffs and a strong bass.
We can hear agresive and fast songs like "Neon Nights" or "Die young" and the dark track "heaven and hell" or the melic"children of the sea" masterpieces all of them
In my opinion this is one of the best albums made by black sabbath
