I heard about this Pokemon 386 hack for the VisualBoyAdvance, which is a GBA emulator. This hack of Pokemon Emerald puts every Pokemon into one game, and Pokemon that had to evolve by trading now evolve naturally. It's really addicting.
I decided to delve deeper into the world of emulation. I found a few stray sites around the net to get GBA ROMs. I have Kirby, Metroid, Zelda, all the big name handheld franchises.
The I realized I could get more. So I got ZSNES, an SNES emulator. I had nowhere to get the games, though. Sure, I found a few here and there, but nothing with everything in one place.
So I asked my good friend Ulti. He pointed me to... a site that would probably get me banned if I linked to it.
My dreams have been fufilled. All my SNES games in my collection are ROMs. I also picked up Project64 and Super Smash Bros. I also got Gens, the Genesis emulator, just so I can play Zero Wing.
This is the most fun I've had in a while. I've got almost 50 games right here on my computer. Who needs Half-Life 2 and Guild Wars?
I am currently looking for a FFVII ROM. Hard to find. But it's for a friend, not for me. If you know where to find one, drop me a line by AIM: Thunderous Zen.
Yeah, see you then. The phone is ringing. Bye.
