I'm still going to visit the site. But, until they get Jeff back I'm not paying CNET another dime. Subscription cancelled! I don't care what he was fired for... He was a great dude and the heart and soul of this place. Look around, this place is dead without him. They need to get him back... Or jump ship.

I'm so sick of other gamers right now. Basically, FASA (one of my favorite studios) is gone. Not only did Micro$ play the greed card... But most people hated on Shadowrun for no good reason. 9 out of 10 people that hated Shadowrun, don't have a legitiment reason for disliking it when you ask them. Charlie44 from the COD4 beta told me "I didn't even play Shadowrun, I hated it because it wasn't an RPG"... People have said that in the gamespot forums... In the FASA forums... Everywhere. Makes me extremely pissed. You kids couldn't even try it before you hated on it?

My last blog was about Chrome Hounds and Prey... Both looked awesome... Both sucked. It's a damn shame... Now, more then a year later... HALO 3 IS COMING OUT... I super excited. The only problem with the Halo games... too me... Was all the trash talking. Everyone claimed to hate it, and then just went ahead and did it anyway. Kids signing show tunes, drunk people reading the riot act, ubber nerds telling you that you do infact suck at all games ever made and your Mom is a W...... Anyway, you get the point. I got the COD4 beta working, it's awesome. I played all last night, almost non stop. I just hope there are more weapons in the final version... There areSO not enough weapons in the multi-player beta. Also, COD4 has the same problem as 2 and 3... The spawn areas are easily taken advantage of, allowing sneaky players cheap knife kill after cheap knife kill. I like the graphics, the people glow in the sun a bit much though, but besides that they're are awesome. Plus, the graphics areprobably toned downin the Beta anyway. The knife kills are really cool. The weapons look and sound very authentic, now if they could let you change between burst, single shot, and full auto without having to switch guns entirely! I still don't know how to use the perks entirely, mostly the c-4 and RPG... I'll have to figure that out. Anyway, it's awesome... PLAY IT!!!

Only a few more days until July 11 and the release of Chromehounds and Prey. I'm torn between which one I will play first. I'm ready for a new 360 title, seeing as hitman isn't quite my style... I don't sneek, I kill.

Number one on my pissed list!!! One of the only tournaments where I have the game and am good at it..... And I'm going to be in Disneyland..... Dammit!!! Also, Wii might not come in the Green color they showed last year....... Dammit!!! Green is my color when it comes to gaming devices and hardly anyone ever makes green accessories. I saw Revolution and a respective remote and nun-chuck in Green and was killer excited.... Then this E3 they are showing white, black, and silver???? BS!!! Who wants black, white, or silver..... NO ONE. My 360 is white and I already hate how dirty it gets. I live in Nevada and black shows dust hella. And silver is really damn lame. I want Green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got quite a bit of time in on Kingdom Hearts 2 already... and I haven't left Twilight town yet. It's because I'm going over the whole game with a fine tooth comb, searching every corner and back alley in the game. The first kingdom hearts, you were missing half the fun if you didn't search and find the little secret stuff here and there. The story is incredible... I've noticed that alot of the reviews for the game are claiming to have spent 40 to 100 hours on it.... which is BS!!! So, if you want to see an accurate review... I'll be posting one after an entire weekend of solid non stop play. Check back next week. If you want to know wiether or not to buy the game... I haven't left the begining crap and already can tell you... KH2 is better then the original.

EMPIRE AT WAR COMES OUT TODAY, HOU!!!!!

As most gamers know... Professional gaming is quickly becoming a major reality. I could be the next Michael Jordan of the gaming world. Much like Texas Hold 'Em has made nobody poker players into household celebrities, our time has come. But, where do I begin. How do I become a professional gamer? Other's have suggested I enter the CPL summer tournament in Texas, it's a good way to get your foot in the door. Only problem is, I'm no good at Quake 4 and only decent in Counter Strike. If this was a Perfect Dark Zero tournament.... I'd have this one in the bag. lol. Anyway, I really don't feel right about CPL. Quake and CS just aren't my games. If I go there this summer, and fail horribly, I'll destroy my chance of getting in on games I'm good at like UT. On the other hand, if I don't start kicking ass and taking names now, I could be too late for gamings revolution. Maybe I'm not ment to be a Pro Gamer. But, maybe I am. Should I enter CPL?   

I got a top 500 reviewer badge.... I feel so loved...... and not afraid and alone......... which I am........... NOT. Awesome, I got a badge by just being me, I wasn't even trying to get it, nor did I know it existed. Man, I don't even know what I did to get it, but it's FRESH!!!! Anyway, enough of me for now. Check this out The Sims: Battle for Middle Earth. It's just like the Sims right... only instead of house building and people.... you could build a shire and control hobbits. That would be cool. I heard there is a Lord of the Rings MMO coming out, I hope it's good.

How is it that games like GUN give you achievements for the simple task of walking, when games like Perfect Dark Zero make you work for them. There should be a standardized approach to points, Microsoft, fix it!!!

It seems, that only 10 percent of the PS2 games out now draw my attention. The PS2 controller is my least favorite of any consule. The PSP has 2 games I feel are worth playing, and the sad excuse for an anolog stick is just a d*ck tease. The PS3 isn't looking much better. Banishing the hardcore gamer by giving us a "multi media platform" instead of what we want, a gaming machine. The boomerang looks retarded, I thought it was a joke the first time I saw it. It looks exactly like the PS 1 and 2 controllers, only more round.... and inspired by Batman's favorite utility, the Batarang. C'mon, everyone already knows that the difference between Dual Shock 1 and 2, was the painted on "Dual Shock 2" on the bottom. Why keep the controller almost exactly the same for YEARS??? Cause they can continue using the same parts, so it's cheaper. Not cheaper for you and I, given the possible $500 dollar price tag. I see alot of Sony fan boys speculating the launch titles, I already can give a fair assesment on what I think will be on shelves. Nada 3, Bean Counter Extreme, and another Tekken that yet again.... is not worth my time when there's Dead or Alive to think about. Then, probably acouple years into it's life. They'll make Kingdom Hearts 3 and I'll be forced to buy a PS3. I'll beat the game, and then have a $500 dollar paper wieght. Especially since Final Fantasy might be on 360 from now on. Who knows, might happen.

So many games leave me going, WTF??? For one reason or another. The first game this year to really press my buttons was Area 51. David D's voice, aliens, guns, it had the potential. Terrible dialogue, annoying enemies, frustraiting level design, and horrible multiplayer. What were they thinking??? Still they fooled a ton of 10 yr old gamers that didn't know any better. With so many good games out, why waste time with "Total Overdose: A Gunslingers Boring Story in Mexico". The loco moves, jumping from cars, and day of the dead shooting mini game things, it could have been sick. But, the cars are almost undriveable due to poor controls and nothing really works the way it's supposed too. The graphics are terrible. The story line generic. WHY MAKE THIS GAME? You can't tell me they made money off of it, or expected too. How dumb are they to believe that such a terribly made game could actually go somewhere? Dark Watch was a game that really freshened things up, a game I expected to suck, plesently surprised me. DW controls well, looks good, has killer enemies, bomb weapons, and a actually interesting and fresh story line. WTF!!! One of the main reasons Dark Watch was SOOO good was that it had all of the genre standard features (jumping, melee attacks, vehicles) and added to that. I hate it when games ignore the cool features other games have come up with. I never want to play a FPS again without melee attacks!!! I would have said that about jumping, but Perfect Dark Zero is awesome even though you can't jump. The dodge role is a suitable replacement to me. Perfect Dark Zero and Dark Watch are perfect examples of game designers starting with what works and making it their own. Half Life 2 is it's own breed of crazy, and makes every feature ever introduced into the FPS genre it's own with ease and smoothness. PDZ, DW, and HL2 are three reasons why gamers shouldn't be wasting their time on 50 Cent Bulletproof. To sum this rant up, why make a game if your not going to put everything you have into it. Lionhead studios does that on the dayly, and will always beat Eidos in sales for that reason. The End.

It seems to me EA puts out alot of games. Out of the few EA games I've played recently, only one of them was any good. Marvel Rise of the Imperfects makes me feel like they don't even have a quality control department. Most Wanted (the only recent EA release worth anything) is one of the best games ever, but it has little frame rate hang ups now and then that really suck. Where was quality control then? Now, EA keeps trying to buy everybody out. They got Westwood, and sure screwed that up. Haven't seen a new Command and Conquer in a damn long time, makes me worry EA silently cancelled my favorite game series. If EA doesn't shape up, I think it's time to stop buying.
