Well so far everything is going well. We are getting married next May and have already picked our venue. It has a chapel onsite from 18th century and has a really nice reception room.

I have bought my dress too, it is getting made, that is going to take about 3 months. It is really lovely, has a huge long train at the back. It is a strapless dress with a really nice bodice that pulls my stomach in and makes my boobs look good!!! It also makes me look like I have no butt so all in all its fantastic!

We just went shopping for bridesmaids dresses today and luckily botht the girls found a dress they could agree on!!! It is a nice light purple short dress. It can be worn again so it will be great for the races ect. It doesnt look like a traditional bridesmaid dress. They have to be made now aswell so final fitting for them will be next January!!

Everyone cant believe how quickly I am getting this put together! Ive got the makeup, cars, dresses ect organised. My boyfriend just has to get his suit for him and his best man. So that will probalby end up beign down to me to organise cos we all know what men can be like!!!

Actually just thought of one thing we havent sorted out is the wedding bands, gonna have to get onto that cos my fingers are so tiny that it will probably have to be made as well!!!

Havent been on here for a really long time. Ive had migraines so havent been on the computer at all. So what gossip am I missing?????

I have been away for a couple of days so I havent been able to say thankyou for the congratulations you guys have all given me!!!

I went to Cairns for 5 days with my parents and my sister, it was my mums 50th birthday and my 28th so my dad wanted to treat us to a little holiday!

I am really appreciative of all the messages people have sent me it is fantastic to know that I have so many friends here. I wish I could have you all at the wedding!

I have to say I do like the idea of a cyber wedding or atleast an engagment party!!! It would be a laugh! Smawls you can be bartender anytime you like!!!

Just a quick one to say I had a great birthday!!! I had a lovely suprise with a nice diamond ring from my boyfriend with a proposal!!!! It was so sweet!

Only thing is I go to Cairns tomorrow for a few days with my parents (its my mums 50th this year too) so I wont see him again till wednesday!!!

So gonna have to start planning a few things now, I have absolutly no idea where to start. Im sure my sister will be able to help me cos she did it all 2 years ago.

Starting to get a bit stressed with it all though, cos I think we ar going to want to do it before we have our big holiday niext July so Im gonna have to get cracking!!!

Well this time next week I will turn 28. It really should be a happy time for me but to be honest all I keep thinking about is where I am going in life.

As most of you know my work had a change of ownership. I worked my arse off to get where I was in the place, after nine years I was a dispense tech, in charge of 6 other people and basically knew everytihng about anything. When this new chick took over 6 months ago she got rid of all the extra staff, and the ones she kept have quit anyway. So basically it is only me there now. She treats me like a junior. I dont dispense scripts anymore and I dont do dosette medication boxes she took all that away from me. I am now a checkout chick basically, all my training and hard work has come to nothing. My old boss keeps ringing me up and telling me how wonderful his life is and I swear to God I want o kill him sometimes. The other thing is too since he left buisness has really dropped off big time. Today is pension day and I can guarantee when I get there we will be dead today. Part of that is due to the new owner, she has no people sklills whatsoever and nobody is warming to her. But she refuses to believe it is her fault and that it is everybody elses fault. She even had a go at me last week becasue I went on my break and she had to serve and do scripts and 2 people walked out becasue it was busy. Well that not my problem, hire more staff?? Thats a good freaking idea. It is really hard to go and find anew job at the moment because no one is hiring in pharmacy becasue there will be huge changes in august. I really do hate it though, I shouldnt be made to feel like iv3e only been there 3 months instead of 9 years.

The other thing I keep thinking about too is kids. My sister had a baby about 5 months ago and he is gorgeous. She got married 2 years ago, and then decided they wanted a baby so they were trying pretty much from day one. I never really used to think I would want children but I can feel my biological clock ticking! Plus everyone around me has either just had a child or is pregnant. My boyfriends brother's girlfreidn just found out she is expecting so they are all excited. Im so happy for them but there is that little part of my mind that keeps saying it should be me. My boyfriend doesnt want kids just yet. We have been together for nearly 6 years and we arent even engaged yet so kids wont be for a long time yet I think!!!

I just feel like everyone around me is going forward and something good is happening in their lives and Im just standing still like Im going in slow motion and with my birthday next week it is really starting to bring me down.

Hopefully I can start celebrating soon.

Well at the moment I am sitting at home having a sickie from work, probably only my 5th day or so in 9 years so not too bad!!

Well as some of you would know my old boss sold the pharmacy last november to a woman who has absolutly no idea how to run a buisness. Consequently she got rid of all the staff (or drove them away) so that it is now only me working full time, she has also kept on one girl for saturday mornings. So now if I am sick it is very difficult to get time off.

Ive been sick now for about 3 weeks, I think it is a chest infection but because I am asthmatic it has just doubled my breathing problems and in the last four days I have developed a shocking cough. It almost sounds like I have croup. So everytime I cough now my back and ribs are in agony. I havent taken any days off from work because there is nobody to cover for me so I have just had to wear it and feel like crap at work but today I had enough and I said that I had to go home. So got there at nine and left at eleven!!

Im not a big fan of winter, I mean I love getting all rugged up when the cold sets in but it does nothing for my health. About 3 years ago I ended up with a chest infection that turned into a throat infection that turned into a sinus infection and then started all over again! I was sick for 3 months and on antibiotics for nearly 5-6 months, which is not fun at all.

So im hoping it doesnt get as bad this time. Ive got another doctor appointmen tomorrow so I'll see what he has to say and what course of action they want to take.

So thats why I havent really been around much at the moment!!! God I need a laptop!
