This band had so much potential but they did not use it. They had a great singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer, the works. their lyrics and lyrical rythem is just dreadful. He has a couple of great albums such as "Raise Your Fist And Yell, "Schools Out", and "Welcome To My Nightmare". The rest show the enthusiasm just not the effort. But come on even the bigest fan can notice the terrible lyrics, they can not write lyrics to save their lives. Overall the band is pretty forgetable.

These four kids from Birmingham, England know as Polka Tulk, Earth, and now Black Sabbath have been my favorite band ever since I first heard them. Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, and of course you cant forget Ozzy Osbourne, make up this legendary band. Unfortunaltly im 13 in a world of Usher, Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas etc. so liking Black Sabbath in my world is the equivelent to liking to eat crap. but our band plays Black Sabbath for them and they have to listen to it anyway. I listen to at least 2 hours of Black Sabbath a day and play an hour of it a day (i do listen to and play other bands though). Cant get enough of albums such as Black Sabbath with the self titled song and my favorite song N.I.B. Paranoid, with all their hits like Paranoid and Iron Man. Master of Reality (favorite album) with Sweet Leaf, Children of the Grave, Lord of This World, Into the Void. Vol. 4 with Snowblind and Supernaut. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. and Sabotage with Hole in the Sky, Syptom of the Universe, Megalomania. everything else is pretty mediocre even with dio, he never gave me the feeling of Black Sabbath like Ozzy does. Listen Immediatly!

So after Randy's death Sharon started craving money again so made made Ozzy make another album. This couldve been worse but it definetly couldve been better. My main problem with this is the guitars (bass as well) are atrocious compared to the gods of metal Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler. The guitarist from f***ing Night Ranger totally opposite of Ozzy and Black Sabbath. his guitar playing style is different from Tony's and its pretty easy to tell he does Sypmtom of the Universe, Black Sabbath, War Pigs, Never Say Die with no huge complaints. he did Sabbath Bloody Sabbath okay, he skrewed up a lot and that will only be truley noticable to extreme Black Sabbath fans (such as me) but all the rest are pretty hard to listen to especially again to a true Black Sabbath fan. The bass player is no where close to the same league as Geezer. escpecialy the solos he just plays the riff while the crappy version of the solo is going on. The drums and Ozzy are good though. This album is just not up to par with all the other work Ozzy has done in the past. My opinion dont pick this up just get the originals they are much better and worth the money.

Ozzy has been one of the greatest musicians in all of history. Along with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, the 4 kids from Birmingham made my favorite band ever Black Sabbath and became the fathers of the music style we know as metal. During their 9 year stretch of amazing and influential music, they had also experimented with massive amounts of drugs and alchohal. In '78 the band members finally had enough and resorted to firing Ozzy. Post Never Say Die Ozzy locked himself in a hotel room for six months eating pizza and snorting cocaine which destroyed his voice and is y he sounds so different from Never Say Die to Blizard of Ozz. After Sharon Arden (his manager and future wife) recuperated him (to the best a human being can) pushed him to make a solo band. After hiring Lee Kerslake on drums and Bob Daisley on bass, Ozzy needed to find a guitar player as good as Tony Iommi which wont be an easy task. But amazingly he found better, right out of the crappy hair metal band Quiet Riot, Randy Rhoads. Randy Rhoads used a much more classical route for playing than the bluesy Tony Iommi. Together they made Ozzy Osbourne! This would be different for Ozzy, because of the different enviorment, all the "hip-youngsters" and lets just say Tony wasnt the nicest person to Ozzy unlike Randy Rhoads who listened to Ozzy's before he had pubic hair. now that im done with the history lesson of Ozzy lets get to the review. I Dont Know was a great intro to start out the album, not that its completly influencial or anything, it just starts out nice and goes into the deep stuff. Next comes the amazing song Crazy Train. Im not the biggest fan of Randy's style of riffs but this one is pretty awsome. and this also one of the few sogs where i feel that Randy's (awsome) solo fits with the song really well. thats another reason why I like Tony Iommi a little more than Randy. With Randy Im kindve waiting for the awsome solo while with Tony Im enjoying the awsome riff. Next is Goodbye to Romance which I think everyone skips because its so slow and sappy. Then Dee, i think its sweet that Randy wrote a song for his mom and all but im thinking this a intro of somekind to the next song but it has no segway to Suicide Solution. next as i said is Suicide Solution which is about Bon Scott's death due to alchahol. I hate AC/DC but this song is awsome, another rare great riff by Randy. next is my favorite song Mr. Crowley MY Favorite Song. the lyrics great (not completly accurate but close enough), the riff great, the bass great, the drums great, the solos AMAZING, the whole song is awsome. No Bone Movies, not much to say its okay. Revelation, in my opinion this is a great song, little breaks like this are good for me, but most people i know dont like it. Steal Away, again not much to say its okay. despit my compaints this is still a great ablum pick it up ASAP
