Little Feat raised the bar for all bands to follow. I think of them as one of the frst JAM BANDS, not a southern rock band at all, even though their roots may have been more Southern. This band set the table, with some of the best rock musicians of their day, laboring to produce perfect ROCK. Live, they were unparalleled, and that remains their charm now, playing full-tilt boogie which transcends labels applied to lesser bands, to draw a following. Don't listen to labels, HEAR Little Feat, who, even without Lowell George, have managed to produce really GOOD music.

I am listening to this for the first time and I can say, I've already called m daughtor to tell her to listen to this fabulous lady. I read a review saying tat a fan of Billie Holiday would like it, what a diservice to this talented singer. I am a Billie Holiday fan, but the genre is so different that there is NO comparison. This is current, meaningful, vital music that should appeal to lots of fans of many different genres. give HER a listen, and fall in love.

Fabulous, innovtive, yet somehow familiar. This guy should be a huge star, and he may be in Argentina, but I hope he gets "discovered" here in the US. It's not really blues but it's bluesy with a big band feel, like BB King or Brian Setzer.
