Critters Buggin'
The eclectic, Seattle-based group Critters Buggin' consists of bassist Brad Houser drummer and Matt Chamberlain, both formerly of the New Bohemians, and percussionist Mike Dillon and saxophonist Skerik, a former member of SadHappy and Tuatara. The band formed in 1993 and released their first record Guest the following year on their friend Stone Gossard's Loosegroove label. The live album Host appeared three years later, followed by 1998's Bumpa. Critters Buggin's 1999 album Amoeba continued the group's distinctive jazz-funk-dub direction. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
