For one of his final recordings, trumpeter Blue Mitchell returned to a small group format and came up with an underrated gem. This out-of-print LP features Mitchell with altoist Dick Spencer, pianist Victor Feldman, bassist John Heard and drummer Dick Berk performing five jazz standards and the basic original "Getting' Sentimental Over Blue."
