Both of the group's early '80s albums are combined onto this single-disc CD collection. Most of the material comes from the pen of Jamie James, although the covers (of Buddy Holly, Charlie Rich, Don Gibson, and Carl Perkins) give a pretty good idea as to their sources of inspiration. It's cheerful, energetic rock revivalism, without much originality or compelling material. More reverent than the Stray Cats, perhaps, but not as brazen, and therefore not as exciting.
