Award-winning singer Dolores Keane has made an impressive name for herself in the world of Celtic music. She has performed and recorded with well-known groups like Planxty, DeDanann, John Faulkner, and many others. This, as well as her noteworthy solo works, have allowed her to build up a large following of loyal fans. Lovers of Irish and folk-style music will know why after sampling a few tunes from this 1993 album, simply titled Solid Ground. Her emotions show through clearly in her words. Some picks from this full-length offering are "Nothing to Show," "Emigrant Eyes," "Summer of My Dreams," and "The Finer Things." Dolores Keane has an enchanting voice that is a perfect fit for most Celtic tunes. This one is sure to earn Keane a lot of new fans.
