Roses in the Sky is a richly textured, thoughtful album by guitarist and pianist Sky. There is a subtle folk and Celtic feel to many of the pieces, especially on "When I Close My Eyes and Dream." Sky also employs bouzouki, synthesizer and drums on many of the pieces. Each cut seems to take a different musical route to reach the same peaceful place in the listener's mind.
