The last album by Dave Lambert, Jon Hendricks and Annie Ross before Ross dropped out and was replaced by Yolande Bavan, this LP (which should be reissued on CD in full) has quite a few memorable tracks: "Come on Home," "Farmer's Market" (which Annie Ross based on an Art Farmer trumpet solo), "Cookin' at the Continental," "Home Cookin'," "Poppity Pop" and the humorous "Halloween Spooks." Backed by the Ike Isaacs Trio, the premiere vocal ensemble sounds in prime form. It is a pity that this group was only together for four years since they never made an unexciting record.
