Choirs of Christmas consists of John Tesh's arrangements of classic carols performed by three different choral groups: the Encore Children's Chorus, the Paulist Boy Choristers of California, and Rock Theatre. The presence of voices makes Choirs of Christmas a little more vibrant than many of Tesh's other albums, yet his distinctive, laidback and synthesized arrangements remain quite familiar. It's not quite as lovely as a Romantic Christmas, yet this album is quite wonderful in its own low-key way.
