Featuring ten of Sister Sledge's most well-known hits during the peak of their career in the '70s, We Are Family is a lukewarm survey of their disco heyday including some of their fan favorites and a few urban downtempo numbers. "He's the Greatest Dancer" and the Chic-produced "Lost in Music" are both inexplicably absent from this collection, making this a rather incomplete anthology. But those looking for just the hits at an economically sensible price would be well served by checking this out.
