Livin' for the Weekend: Anthology by Triumph!

Critic's Review

4.5 out of 5 stars Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
The most comprehensive Triumph anthology ever issued at the time of its 2005 release, this two-CD set draws material from most of the albums the band had issued, as well as adding a previously unreleased cover of "Love Hurts" and two tracks from their 1983 appearance at the US Festival. All of their chart singles are here, along with lengthy liner notes detailing the history of the band in the booklet. The far briefer single-disc best-of Classics will be enough for most fans who want just one Triumph record. But this is the best (and, as of 2005, only) alternative for those who want a more comprehensive compilation of this hard-working, long-lived arena rock band that virtually defines average mainstream hard rock.
