There's nothing too startling here, just Strait giving some holiday classics a light honky tonk spin, and the end result is a relaxed, pleasant, and folksy collection that doesn't try to push the limits on anything. Highlights include "There's a New Kid in Town," "When It's Christmas Time in Texas," the homespun "Old Time Christmas," and the mostly spoken word "Noel Leon" (note the mirror spelling).
