Critic's Review

3.5 out of 5 stars Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
24 Non-Stop Dancing Music from the Stylers is a veritable grab bag of sounds from the West filtered through the sensibility of the Far East -- James Bond themes, Creedence Clearwater Revival covers, and even Tony Orlando & Dawn hits travel through the looking glass, in the end sounding unmistakably like the Stylers. As cover bands go, they're terrible, but as Confucian rock & rollers they're exceptional -- whether it's Del Shannon's operatic pop classic "Runaway" or Santana's Latin rock odyssey "Black Magic Woman," the Stylers transform their raw material into something uniquely Chinese, complete with bizarrely cartoonish vocals and Mandarin rhythms.
