I Got Rhythm is a double-disc 34-track overview of legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson recorded in the '40s and '50s. Peterson fronts his trio and quartet plus is a featured artist with Roy Eldridge, Benny Carter, Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, Flip Phillips, and Lester Young. The program consists mainly of standards like "I Got Rhythm," "Rockin' Chair," "Exactly Like You," "Love for Sale," and several Duke Ellington selections. The sound quality is definitely not top-notch, but the performances are.
