Even though Yes fans are a rabid and dedicated bunch, does anyone really need a three-disc set of live Yes (in some fashion) as well as "solo" material? The latter is what is truly suspect here. It's true that live Yes from virtually any period has great moments, some even truly awe-inspiring, and there are some of those here, including the stunning opening track, "Yours Is No Disgrace"; a brilliant, jazzed-up "Close to the Edge"; and a moving "Homeworld." Even some of the solo material kicks, such as the gorgeous acoustic "Your Move" by Steve Howe with Jon Anderson and Chris Squire, Anderson's funky 1999 version of "Owner of a Lonely Heart," and even Squire and Billy Sherwood's "Lonesome Trail." But there is stuff that has no business here, such as Adam Wakeman and friends' version of "Long Distance Runaround" and "Going for the One," as well as Jemma Wakeman's horrific "I Believe."
