By the autumn of 2004 Kreosote had spectacularly managed to write a single song all year. Faced with the concept of an impending recording, the trio dug deep into their combined past to find some stuff they'd never bothered to record. The resulting EP, 'The Wrong Pocket!', was a change of pace to the normal warp speed shouty stuff Kreosote are known for. The bloke who recorded the EP, a talented yet insane engineer called Wayne Ashley loved dicking about with bizarre noises and effects and consequently, somehow, gave Kreosotes collection of set fillers and B-sides a style of it's own.
