Based on the premise that music should have no boundaries, the band Qwentin
drew its own path, creating music than can only be described as unique.
Speaking as many languages as they can, the band becomes one single person, a
storyteller named Qwentin - a dreamer who believes that all the languages in the
world are perceptible to everyone, as long as an effort is put unto it.
Their debut album, Premir0065! features 12 songs/short-stories in languages such
as Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Esperanto. And, through
those multilingual psi-fi-like stories, the listener looses himself, forgets the day-today
clichs002c and experiences the taste of the unknown - which begins on the tip of
his nose.
Musically, Qwentin takes Lo-fi to a whole new level, privileging authenticity rather
then over-production.
Qwentins over the top live performances melange rock energy, theatrical
dramatics and intriguing videos, delivering a powerful audiovisual experience.
The album Premir0065!, produced by Daniel Cardoso (Head Control System) will be
released in Portugal on November, 12 through Raging Planet and Compact Records
and is available for licensing and distribution in Europe and North America.
