A rock/hard rock/metal demo that I completely recorded myself. The album is very eclectic and most everyone should be able to find something they like. It ranges from soft acoustic guitar and piano songs to heavy distorted guitars and double bass drums

One of the first songs that was recorded for the album. It's a good representation of the idea of acoustic guitars against distorted ones and unconventional chord voicings and progressions. Filesize: 4.6 MB Length: 298 seconds

The Faded Light	47	0	play
One of the heavier songs on the album. It has a cool accent-shifting 6/8 meter. I used this horrendously bad microphone for the bridge to make the scratchy 1930's recording sound. Filesize: 4.2 MB Length: 278 seconds
Lucidity	81	0	play
One of the more experimental songs. The guitars have a nice chorused reverberated sound, and the solos have a nice old 70's style reverberated overdriven tone. Very different and interesting. Filesize: 4.5 MB Length: 293 seconds
Nihilistic Reverie, pt. I	4	2	play
Another experimental track. This is actually the intro to pt. 2 which will be a more modern rock kind of song. It features alot of electronic instruments (drums, synths, etc.) Filesize: 3 MB Length: 196 seconds

The most progressive song on the album. I think it's a very good overall representation of everything that happens. It has acoustic guitars, heavy distorted ones, thundering double-bass drums. Screaming, singing. Filesize: 7.5 MB Length: 488 seconds

Another one of the heavier songs on the album. It has both very eerie and pretty piano parts that go along with the heavily distorted guitars. Filesize: 3.3 MB Length: 218 seconds
(Lead Me) Into Death	7	0	play
One of the earlier recordings for the album. Its a good representation of the earliest idea of acoustic guitars being used with distortion. It also has a very strange, almost atonal, pre-chorus. Filesize: 4.7 MB Length: 306 seconds

Definately not the most rocking song on the album. This is probably the softest song, it's mainly electronic. Pianos, strings, synths, electronic drums. The one acoustic instrument is a guitar but you can barely hear it. Filesize: 4 MB Length: 259 seconds
Dirge For Sanity	6	0	play
Another soft song. This one has only and acoustic guitar and drums. There is also a nice little piano solo after two of the chorus nothing to complex but I like it. It's very melancholic, I think it's a nice closer for the album. Filesize: 4.2 MB Length: 277 seconds
