Featuring the Cocteau Twins’ Robin Guthrie and Zoe Keating (Imogen Heap/ Rasputina). Halou sets aside the electronics and cranks the amps in their most compelling work to date, the Sawtooth EP. A prelude to their much-anticipated forthcoming full-lengh album (Summer 2008), the EP represents a radical stylistic departure for the San Francisco trio. Layer upon layer of filthy, crunchy guitars intermingle with velveteen cello and enormous drums to re-interpret Halou's signature songwriting style.
