His no-nonsense hip hop chops play nicely along with the synth-heavy backdrop for his rhymes. The highlights of his cd are when he gets into the musical quality, with melodic backbeats and sweet vocals. A fly mix of lyrics gives us a disc full of cool notes and a flavor of timelessness, while keeping it real.
