Though there's certainly a case to be made that Bill Cosby did his finest standup work during his years on the Warner Bros. label, this collection of material released on the Uni and MCA labels is almost enough to make you reconsider: There's an awful lot of top-drawer material on this double-album set. Though some of the albums this original material was taken from tended to focus on certain areas (his children, mostly), this collection is fairly diverse, also touching on his own childhood, sports, and television. All in all, it's a great overview of Cosby's second phase of standup and well worth seeking out.
