What's in a Name was one of Rodney Dangerfield's earliest records, recorded before he became a celebrity on the back of his hilarious "I get no regard" schtick. In fact, many of his latter-day fans may be a little surprised by how straitlaced and domesticized much of this material this is. And that's why it's of interest more as a curio than a full-fledged laugh riot -- it captures a distinctive comedian before he found his very own voice.
