Much of the material is familiar, from Barney standards like "The Rainbow Song"and "Barney Is a Dinosaur" to traditional favorites like "Old MacDonald." Others were written for this show. Regardless, they have that combination of zestiness, unfailing good humor and tenderheartedness that are Barney's hallmarks.
