Melody's sparkling piano accompaniment offers just enough support -- like columns of light -- on which to hang the angelic melodies. Her voice is either engagingly crystal clear or as penetrating as a mother's whisper; cherubically enchanting responses harmonize around her. It's uplifting and twee, but Melody's deft phrasing keeps the music from seeping into sentimentality. Melody has garnered much acclaim for the healing power of her music. The second half of the album is a guided meditation for healing, with script by Dyan Garris.
