The Limeliters were beginning to make a career out of reuniting with each other, but by 1976, they could only put together recordings on their own label, Brass Dolphin. This is the second of a two-volume series chronicling this latest reunion, recorded at the Seattle Opera House before over 6,000 fans. Where volume one dealt with new material, volume two is predominantly the familiar, comfortable old stuff: "There's a Meetin' Here Tonight," "Wayfarin' Stranger," "Lonesome Traveler," etc. Glenn, Lou, and Alex sound virtually unchanged since the early '60s. Lou's between-song remarks are a mite racier and less likely to go over well today. The autobiographical "Acres of Limeliters" was now a part of the act, but little else was changing.
