Today Is The Day is noise-rock that is about the primacy of rhythm. That's how I like it - obvious and bludgeoning. A natural beat that almost swings, not the noise-rock of a multitude of different screams from a speeding train. Intense and fearsome is the visage worn by this burly beast. This shows also the warped possibilities of Today Is The Day moving from unconventional instrumentation to a more typical lineup. Today Is The Day comes on strong as Zeni Geva but holds on to the idea of underlying consistency that evidences composer Steve Austin's appreciation for the Laughing Hyenas Lost Crimes album.
