This 14-track CD improves upon previous collections by offering more songs, recording dates, chart information, brief liner notes (including a testimonial from Marty Stuart), and Jackson's 1963 number one hit "BJ the DJ." Every one of Jackson's eleven Top Ten country hits are included, the remaining three cuts having made the Top 20. All but one track from the American Originals collection is duplicated here, making Classic Country the definitive Stonewall Jackson anthology.
