Like most pachanga albums, Pachangas has limited range in style and tempo. Having both male and female singers lends some variety, and the usual Arthur Murray Orchestra spirit keeps things lively. Ten of the 12 tracks are vocal, and all are good, interesting diversions from the usual pachanga album fare. Of course, detailed instructions for "Pachanga Basic," "Pachanga Push," "Pachanga Crossover," and "Pachanga Conga Step" tell the real story.
