Might-Ay White-Ay, the third album from Mephiskapheles, finds the band trying to expand its musical range, working some jazzier textures into their hyperactive ska-punk circus. That's a good thing, because the silly, tongue-in-cheek Satanic posturing is beginning to wear a little thin by this point (there isn't much schtick here that the band hasn't already used), and you can only get so far recording songs with titles like "King Tit." This shouldn't be taken to mean, however, that there are no good moments on Might-Ay White-Ay, because there are, especially for longtime fans.
