Covering the years 1977 through 1984, 16 Greatest Hits is packed with chart hits and great music. Jeannie Kendall's voice is very similar to Dolly Parton's, and her father Royce Kendall, despite being a capable vocalist, usually provides harmony vocals rather than taking lead. Cheatin' songs comprise the bulk of this material, but the lack of variety in subject matter is offset by strong performances and material.
