Haack is both an electronic music pioneer and comic genius. This CD is the intersection of Romper Room and a Devo concert. Perhaps at the beginning of the '60s Haack believed he was simply making innocuous music for children. As it is, this Canadian and his homemade instruments earned the respect of Beck, Tiny Tim, and more. This retrospective is among the most innovative and zany, creative and hilarious recordings you can find.
