The Very Best of Bee Gees: Live by The Bee Gees!

Critic's Review

3.0 out of 5 stars Heather Phares, All Music Guide
The Very Best of the Bee Gees: Live captures the brothers Gibb in concert during their 1990 "One for All" tour. Recorded at Melbourne, Australia's National Tennis Center, the show features favorites such as "Lonely Days," "You Should Be Dancing," and "How Deep Is Your Love." Though the concert's video meets DVD's crisp standards, the sound quality is surprisingly and dissapointingly muddy, especially when compared with the Bee Gees' One Night Only disc. It's unfortuntate that this document of the group's return to the stage after a decade away from it doesn't sound as good as it could, but the show's energy and the brothers camaraderie may make it worthwhile for some fans. Audiophiles, however, will probably want to stick with One Night Only.
