The Kill You EP features more of Darling Violetta's melancholy, guitar-driven dream-pop, including five new songs plus two alternate remixes. "Cure," one of the songs featured on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer is included, although the band's opening theme song for the spinoff show Angel is not. Overall, the band's melodic sense is beginning to sharpen a bit, signaling the potential for an accomplished full-length.
