This 2001 reissue collects 21 tracks from three original Ferrante & Teicher 10" albums. The new disc unites their homage to the work of Rodgers & Hammerstein and Cole Porter, and includes such songs as "A Very Special Day," "C'Est Magnifique," "I Love Paris," "A Foggy Day," and "Can-Can." A highly recommended release of non-1960s cheese, where the sentimentality seems more appropriately applied. Fans of their more pop film work may be disappointed at the lack of soap opera or television material.
