Au Nom d'Une Femme features French vocalist Hélène Ségara performing a dozen songs, all of them highlighting the celebrated vocalist's singing ability. Ségara rose to prominence as a popular theater performer, and her refined and seasoned performance on Au Nom d'Une Femme is much informed by theatrical singing. Some of the featured songs on this album include "Il y a Trop de Gens Qui T'Aiment," "Mrs. Jones," "Il Attend la Pluie," "Elle, Tu l'Aimes," and "Parlez Moi de Nous."
