Critic's Review

2.5 out of 5 stars Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
The "stript" edition of Our Little Secret is another interesting addition to the Lords of Acid catalog. Where the missing vocals of Deb Ostrega hurt the "stript" version of Farstucker, Our Little Secret has an interesting enough core that it can live without Nikkie Van Lierop's sex chants. Some songs sound great without vocals; a track like "Deep Sexy Space" becomes easier to dance to because it is so much easier to hear what they're trying to achieve with the rhythm and synthesizer. And on the other end, a few songs sound a little hollow without the original vocals (especially "Pussy," which thrives on its novelty lyrics). But in general this album comes off as a fairly average acid house record with some interesting booty rap beats and electric guitar thrown in for good measure. And really, that's all the original album is, just with hilariously oversexed vocals added to keep their novelty value alive.
